The Congregational Health Promoters (CHP) is in a program led by the Church Health Center in Memphis, Tennessee. The Church Health Center has trained over 1,000 participants to be CHPs in local congregations serving the city and communities in various ways. Congregational Health Promoters go through an 8 week program to become certified for leading a church health ministry and serving as a resource for the congregation and faith community.
